After years in the cellar, the Nampa High football team is making waves.
The Bulldogs beat crosstown rival Columbia 49-21 on the road Friday to win their fifth straight game and improve to 5-1 for the first time since 2008.
Running back Brian Carrillo led the way, running for 178 yards and four touchdowns, including an 85-yard run in the fourth quarter to put the game away. Donnie Estrada threw two touchdowns, including one to Jace Mann, who made his seventh interception of the season to snuff out a Columbia drive right before halftime.
